Second Glance, Second Chance Becomes a Book Exchange

Lancaster Area Literacy Cooperative and the Second Glance, Second Chance Bookshop is now giving books to the general public. SGSC is now a "book exchange" for the people of Lancaster County and surrounding areas. We are accepting donations of books from the community and in exchange for this donation, the general public can take from our inventory any books they like. Our collection consists of a wide variety of topics. Just a few are children's, cookbooks, art, history, mystery, romance and education. 

The belief of LALC is that everyone has the right to own a book. Because the community has been so generous in their donations, we now have 4000 books in our inventory. We also believe that if the donations continue, we can maintain this project for years to come. 

Whether you have books to donate or you are looking for good book to curl up with, drop by. We'd love to give you a book to "Broaden Your World".
